The organizers are seeking donations of unique items, experiences, gift cards, travel packages, event tickets, dining experiences, memorabilia and more to make this year’s auction a success.
For more than 50 years, the SPJ Legal Defense Fund has helped journalists defend First Amendment rights, fight for access to public records and government proceedings, and obtain critical legal assistance when press freedoms are challenged. In recent years, the fund has stepped up to support journalists and newsrooms facing costly legal battles including after newsroom and home raids by law enforcement.
