The SPJ Virginia Pro and Washington, D.C., Pro chapters sponsored a session Nov. 10 on the freedom of information laws in Virginia.
It was moderated by Denise Dunbar, publisher and executive editor of the Alexandria Times and a member of the board of directors of the DC Pro chapter.
Panelists included:
- Paul Fletcher, publisher and editor-in-chief of Virginia Lawyers Weekly, former national SPJ Freedom of Information Committee chair, former national president of SPJ and former president of the Virginia Pro chapter
- Megan Rhyne, executive director of the Virginia Coalition for Open Government
