National headquarters of the Society of Professional Journalists is seeking your feedback for planning the future of the SPJ annual conference, most recently known as Excellence in Journalism.
Staff there says, “We need your help and ideas in considering what we do in 2022 and beyond. Please take five minutes to complete this survey.”
Deadline is Friday, Oct. 16.
Remember, EIJ20 had been scheduled for Washington, D.C., until the public health crisis forced cancellation of the big gathering at the Washington Hilton.
SPJ2021 is set for New Orleans.
Where will it be in 2022? You can help decide by offering insight about how interested you are in traveling to a conference outside our area, or if you would prefer that other journalists from around the country come here for the gathering, allowing us in the DC Chapter to effectively be hosts!
RIP EIJ2020. You had great potential until canceled due to COVID-19 restrictions. Your programming lives on online, though, and will not be soon forgotten.
