Paul Fletcher, publisher & editor-in-chief of Virginia Lawyers Weekly and former national SPJ Freedom of Information Committee chair, heads up the panel. He’s also a past national president of SPJ.

Panelists also include Megan Rhyne, executive director of the Virginia Coalition for Open Government; Jim McElhatton, freelance investigative reporter; and Evan Watson, investigative reporter with 13News Now (WVEC).

The discussion will be moderated by Denise Dunbar, publisher and executive editor of the Alexandria Times and a member of the board of directors of the DC Pro chapter.
