Members of the SPC-DC chapter are invited to nominate veteran journalists to be considered for induction into our chapter’s Hall of Fame (HOF). The criterion is simply this: strong journalism over at least 25 years in Washington. Names of nominees must be sent by email to Steve Taylor, who is chairman of the HOF Committee at juxta747@gmail.com by Friday, Jan. 9. The committee then will present a slate of nominees to the SPJ-DC board at its Jan. 12 meeting. Usually four new members are inducted each year. The board gives final approval. To be inducted those selected by the board must be able to attend the 2015 Dateline Awards/Hall of Fame dinner in person. The dinner will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the National Press Club.
