We’re excited to announce registration is now open for the Washington, D.C. Journalism Job Fair! Our recruiting tables have sold out, with a great lineup of 20+ newsrooms including the Washington Post, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Politico, Industry Dive, ABC News, CBS News, Sinclair, the Washingtonian, the Washington Business Journal and more.
When: Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies (640 Massachusetts Ave., NW Washington, D.C. 20001)
Register here by March 24. No walk-ins will be accepted per Georgetown’s Covid policy.
Also: We need volunteers! If you’re willing to donate any amount of your Saturday to help make this fair a success, please add your name to this sign-up sheet. You’d get free registration, a t-shirt and a boxed lunch, in addition to our gratitude.
This job fair is hosted by Georgetown’s Master of Professional Studies in Journalism program and is co-organized by the Washington, D.C. chapters of:
- The National Association of Hispanic Journalists
- The National Association of Black Journalists (WABJ)
- The Asian American Journalists Association
- The Association of LGBTQ Journalists (NLGJA)
- The Society of Professional Journalists
- The Journalism & Women Symposium
Journalists have been hired at every one of these job fairs, which we’ve co-organized annually since 2014 until Covid. We’re so proud to be a part of this team effort, and we’re excited to bring it back for the first time since the pandemic.
