The D.C. Pro chapter is hosting USA Today reporter Donna Leinwand for a lunch discussion on April 15 at the National Press Club.
Leinwand, who covered the recent earthquake in Haiti, as well as disasters around the world, will talk about the challenges of difficult assignments.
Leinwand will speak during lunch, which starts at noon.
Tickets are $15 for SPJ members and $18 for nonmembers.

In May, the D.C. Pro chapter and the National Press Club will host an interesting freedom of information session with David Cuillier, SPJ’s national FOI chairman.
The session is scheduled for May 24 at the Press Club.
