We’re hiring at Foreign Policy for a junior-level editor and a senior-level editor, but we’ve got a bit of flexibility and might be interested in in-between candidates if we find someone who really suits. If you or anyone you know is passionate about the world and excited to work at a place that does everything from dispatches from crazy places to argument pieces about international politics, get in touch. We’re hiring first for the junior level position, so any bright former interns are especially encouraged to get in touch. Here’s the description for the junior level job:
*Foreign Policy* is currently looking to hire a junior-level editor. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, highly motivated individual with 1-3 years experience in journalism and knowledge and interest in international affairs. We’re looking for someone with a passion for the broad range of topics we cover, whether it’s nuclear negotiations in Moscow or the politics of polygamy in Africa — as well as a passion for getting the story right. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented and organized, with a good editing ear. A background either in copy editing or fact checking at a professional level is a plus, as is writing and reporting experience internationally or in the United States. Candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and no more than three clips to
