A member has donated 20 tickets to the Wednesday, Sept. 24, Washington Nationals baseball game for use by chapter members. Your purchase will support journalism scholarships.
The 7:10 p.m. game is the next to last home game for the 2008 season. If you have been saying all year, “I need to get out to the new ballpark,” you’re almost out of time.
The tickets are in the right field upper deck — section 234.
All proceeds from the sale of these tickets will go to the Sigma Delta Chi Foundation of Washington, the chapter’s scholarship arm. Each year, the foundation gives $25,000 in scholarships to rising juniors and seniors at area colleges and universities.
If you want to reserve your seat, please send $20 for each ticket to the club’s mailbox. (Yes, that’s a little over the $10 face value — its a fund-raiser!)
Tickets ordered by Sept. 10 will be mailed. Others will be left at will call at the stadium.
