We got a note from The Alexandria Times. They have several job opportunities as they expand their mission as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and asked us to spread the word.

We are expanding our sports coverage to include a weekly Sports section, and seek freelancers to write sports stories, including game coverage, reports on teams, and sports features.
We are applying for a year-long investigative partnership with a national organization and seek an experienced reporter to work full-time on an environmental-related project. If we are chosen, the investigation would begin July 1, 2026 and would pay up to $80,000 plus benefits.
We are seeking freelance reporters to do one-off investigative stories for the Alexandria Journalism Project that will appear in the Alexandria Times.
We are seeking a sales representative to sell print and digital ads in and near the Times’ 13-zip code distribution area on a retainer/commission/bonus basis.
