February 17 the SPJ International Community and the DC chapter held a Zoom session with Kirstin McCudden, vice president of editorial for Freedom of the Press Foundation, overseeing the organization’s editorial strategy and standards. She is also the managing editor of the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker.
During the hour-long session she not only described what threatens press freedom in the United States, despite the First Amendment, but also what steps can be taken to fight back.
