Assignment Washington: Foreign correspondents in D.C. talk about reporting for a different audience on Oct. 21

Join us Oct. 21 to hear from European journalists about working here in the U.S.

GREAT GIG, RIGHT?

For many journalists here in the United States, the idea of being a foreign correspondent is a glamorous one.

But what is it like for members of the international press community who have been assigned to cover news while based in Washington? What is it like to reach this level in their professional careers?

On Monday, Oct. 21, you will have an opportunity to hear from two Washington correspondents for European news outlets: Brian O’Donovan, from Ireland’s national broadcaster RTÉ, and Raphaël Grand, from Switzerland’s French-language RTS Radio.
