EVENT: The State of Journalism in the District

The SPJ DC chapter is holding a panel discussion with three local journalists discussing the challenges they face and the resources their media organizations bring to bear in covering District of Columbia regional news.

Join these reporters on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at the Fund for American Studies, 1706 New Hampshire Ave. NW (Metro stop is DuPont Circle). Drinks and snacks at 6:30 p.m. Panel begins at 7.

Kavitha Cardoza covers education at WAMU(FM) Washington and is an adjunct faculty member of American University’s Department of Communication

Aaron Davis covers District government for the Washington Post

Cuneyt Dil writes the District Links newsletter, which he founded and is a freelancer for Washington’s Current newspapers.

Moderating is SPJ DC member Eric Falquero. Falquero is editor-in-chief of the District’s StreetSense, which focuses on homeless issues.
