Looking for the DC chapter’s help

The Radio Television Digital News Association and Foundation’s
largest fundraising event of the year, our
First
Amendment Awards dinner, is being held in Washington on
March 12. This year, we’ll be honoring David Lougee of Gannett,
NBC’s Lester Holt, ABC’s Robin Sproul and the Associated Press for
their dedication to advancing press freedoms, and awarding a
lifetime achievement award to CBS’ Bill Plante. The money raised
at the event goes toward scholarships for aspiring journalists and
other educational programs in support of quality, ethical
journalism in the U.S. and around the world.

We are hoping to bring in a large contingent of DC-area
journalists to enjoy a great dinner and rub some famous
journalistic elbows at the Grand Hyatt, and wondered if you could
help us to promote the event with a blurb or a promotional ad in
your electronic newsletter or on your website. In exchange, we’d
be happy to promote an upcoming event or program for your
organization on the web or in our newsletter, which reaches 25,000
journalists and supporters each day.
