It's nearly halfway through the journo-fiscal year at the D.C. Pro chapter, so it's quite appropriate to look ahead to the next election.
Each year, the chapter elects a new slate of officers (president, vice president, treasurer, recording secretary, corresponding secretary) and other board members.
If you've been thinking about getting involved more in the chapter, this is a great way to do it.
The board meets once a month.
You do not need a ton of time or a long history with the chapter or SPJ to run for the board. In fact, we'd like to see new faces and ideas help shape the chapter's future.
