Interesting report just came out from Gallup on religious affiliations in the States.(Religious identity.) The report does a state by state break-down with some interesting and predictable results.
- Utah is #1 for Mormans (60.8 percent of state’s population)
- Mississippi is #1 for Christians/non-Catholics (81 percent of state’s population)
- Rhode Island is #1 for Catholics (52.5 percent of state’s population)
- New York is number # for Jewish faith (6.5 percent of state’s population)
- Oregon is #1 for None/Agnostics/Atheists (24.6 percent of state’s population)
