Much happened in Indy to keep the late Terry Harper’s life and good work in our thoughts.
The pinnacle was seeing a video tribute to Terry on Saturday night after outgoing President Dave Aeikens announced that SPJ was honoring him with a Wells Key.
Terry died after a valiant fight against a brain tumor.
Photos capturing Terry’s essence flashed on the screen. The accompanying music was Frank Sinatra’s "My Way."
Frank went away halfway through the song; Terry took over.
We saw Terry belt out the song, with gusto. How fun and how fitting. We enjoyed Terry’s spirit yet again as we missed him.
His wife and their two sons were there to share the moment with us.
