Quick note from board member Bill McCloskey:
For those of you who were unable to join us Tuesday night, the Ombudsman program was a great success. Many civic activists were on hand and the audience seemed to total about 100. (Perhaps someone actually counted noses.)
The discussion sometimes drifted into speeches by the activists, but the speeches were more or less on point. We certainly have our “Watchdog” ticket punched for the evening.
Julie (Asher) and Stephenie (Overman) did a great job organizing.
Many hands made light work of the cleanup and most of our board members were on their way home before the speakers — -who were tremendously good sports — could escape.
