The annual chapter board election will be held this spring.
Here are the seats that will be up for election:
- President (one year)
- Vice president (one year)
- Treasurer (one year)
- Corresponding secretary (one year)
- Recording secretary (one year)
- Four at-large spots on the board (two years each)
If you are interested in standing for election, please send an e-mail to Immediate Past President Willie Schatz at willie@schatzgroup.com by April 20.
Include a headshot and some information about your journalism background and whatever else you’d like voters to know about you (i.e., Why are you running?).
We will distribute bios of candidates to the chapter.
The board meets once a month at the National Press Club.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 13, at 7 p.m.
Interested candidates, and anyone else in the chapter, are welcome to attend, although space is limited.
